Weekend Camp 

Weekend Camp is specifically designed for the social interaction of adults with disabilities through the camping experience. They are scheduled throughout the summer months from Friday 7:00 p.m. through Sunday 1:00 p.m. Format for the weekend camp resembles that of a cruse ship: the weekend is packed with activities, but participation is not mandatory. Many of our campers return each year, with the distinct notion of simply sitting pool-side for two days!

Staff is all trained in CPR/First Aid, Communicable Diseases, Blood borne Pathogens, Abuse and Neglect, Non-Violent Crisis Intervention, and Unusual Incidences. Supervision ratios are at least one staff to every four campers. Overnight accommodations are our two cabins, separated by gender.

Cost for the Weekend Camp is $175 per weekend. Cost includes three nutritious meals each day. Transportation is not provided. The Family Resource Services Program through local County Boards of DD can also be accessed for those eligible. Campers are asked to bring their own sleeping bag (or bed linens) and pillow, properly marked medication, and personal items, including swim suit and towel.
